Stand on the roof of Africa

Kilimanjaro is a walk, not a technical climb, but the altitude is real. We give you the days and the support to reach the top and enjoy it.

Uhuru Peak · 5,895 m

Reaching the summit is mostly about pacing

Most people who don't summit simply went too fast. We build in the extra day, keep the group slow, and watch everyone closely for how the altitude is landing. Our guides are Kilimanjaro-certified and carry oxygen and a pulse oximeter on every climb.

  • Certified mountain guides
  • Extra acclimatisation day
  • Quality tents and meals
  • Fair porter treatment

Choose your route

Not sure which fits? Tell us your dates and experience and we'll point you to the right one.

Machame

6 to 7 days

The most popular route. Great scenery and a solid acclimatisation profile.

Lemosho

7 to 8 days

Quieter start, high summit success, some of the best views on the mountain.

Rongai

6 to 7 days

Approaches from the north and drier side. Good in the wetter months.

Marangu

5 to 6 days

The only route with hut accommodation. Shorter, but a lower success rate.

From rainforest to glacier

You walk from rainforest to glacier in under a week, passing through climate zones you'd normally cross continents to see.

Rainforest

Warm, humid, alive with birdsong and colobus monkeys.

Moorland & alpine desert

Open ground, giant lobelias, and long views across the plains.

Arctic summit

Glaciers and thin air on the final push to Uhuru Peak at 5,895 m.
